This album introduces a new publisher of graphic novels in both English and Spanish founded in 2005 containing excerpts from its first three books: The March: Crossing Bridges in America, Saque de Meta, and De Vuelta a Verne.

The March: Crossing Bridges in America is the story of the immigrant march that occurred in Chicago on May 1, 2006. This graphic novel is illustrated by Unshaven Comics--three local Chicago artists--Marc Fishman, Matt Wright, and Kyle Gnepper.

The remaining two works were published by the Universidad de Guadalajara/Editorial Universitaria under the direction of Sayri Karp and are illustrated by Mexican fine artists. Saque de Meta (2006) presents short stories in different styles, techniques, and points of view. They explore the myths and the sometimes cruel realities of soccer, the so-called "sport of the people. De Vuelta a Verne (2005), a collection of short stories is an homage to Jules Verne, the father of science fiction. The exquisite illustrations and its method of retelling Verne's stories are a portal to a different world.

Design template: Worthy Shorts® design of picture books intends to frame and support the mood of the illustration and graphic treatment of author content. This keepsake is in the Picture Book Genre and Modern Mood. The cover, interior footers and folios and introductory page are set in a simple san serif ITC Avant Garde Gothic Std by Adobe Systems. Illustrations from the works themselves are used to animate the back cover, front and backmatter. The authors provided original jpg scans to our specifications.
