the Society of Photographic Engineers, and even
one in the journal of the Institute of Electrical and
Electronic Engineers, which impressed my son , who
is, as I was not, an electronic engineer.
The closest I have come to bigtime publishing
is when a colleague at Kodak sent a poem that I had
written (after reading a preface by Robert Frost on
“How to write a poem”) which the New York Times
printed in the early 1960’s.
Since my retirement from Kodak 20 years
ago, I have participated in writing classes at The
Athenaeum at the Rochester Institute of Technology
(now the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at RIT).
There I have had fun writing memoirs, short stories,
poems, and whatever else comes to mind.
