Make it a conscious decision
This is the other key component to the Bounce Theory – we can decide to change our future.
Doesn’t that sound fantastic? I don’t know about you but I hate the thought of having no control
over my life and my situation. I don’t want to be a control freak who needs to know every last
detail about everything – that’s not what I’m talking about here. What I’m saying is that we don’t
have to let life dictate to us how we are going to live.
We have freewill; we have consciousness and thought and the ability to rationalise. We can
decide for ourselves how we want to experience our lives.
A lot of my tips throughout this book will revolve around taking control of your situation
or making a positive and conscious decision to change the factors in your life. I’ve made
a conscious decision in my life that I want to help people. I love to inspire and to aid people and I
wanted to make sure I did something with that – that is how the Bounce Theory started, because
I made that conscious decision to help other people.
