Terms of Service: All sales are subject to the Worthy Shorts® Terms of Service Agreement posted on its web site. Purchases must be by credit or debit card. Keepsakes are non-returnable except for damaged books. Packing, shipping and sales tax are additional and are shown by our shopping cart when you order. Registration Fee: We require a one time registration fee of $25.00 to open your account and set up your Private Press Page. You can manage your new title launches, author purchases and social networking and other links from this page. See site links for Registration application.

Setup and first printing purchase: Purchase is required of from 10 to 15 copies to bring a new title into print. Price shown includes content files and Meta data management, title management setup costs, ISBN, paperback, ePub (when feasible) and PDF digital edition production. Packing, shipping and sales tax additional. Authors may add to the first printing an additional 5 or 10 copies at the reduced prices shown on the price list. A single copy sample is shipped to the author for approval before the first printing at a cost of $10 plus printing and shipping.

Reprint purchase: Prices shown are only for Registered Worthy Shorts® Authors; they do not include packing, shipping and sales tax. These purchases can only be made from the Author's Private Press Page.

Digital Editions: At author's option, setup includes at no charge a basic, reflowable ePub edition (for narrative text-driven works only) and a formatted PDF edition. Ask for prices on upgraded ePub edition formatting.

Design/format: Authors submit text and image files and select from a gallery of interiors and cover designs. Mixed interior formatting may require additional page rate charges that will be quoted. See posted terms of sale.

Subject to change: All prices are subject to change and will be posted on our web site.

Keepsake formats and custom formats: All prices are based on your selection of one of forty design options from among ten genres in one of two trim sizes as shown and from 16 to 96 pages. We also offer a complete range of custom publishing trims, bindings and page counts at special prices. For details, contact info@worthyshorts.com.

Special typographic formatting: Books of poetry and other styles that require special typographic presentation such as custom indentation and/or the use of bold and/or italic to identify kinds of text are charged a minimum premium of $1.75 per finished book page. We will review manuscripts and con-tact the author to advise of additional costs.

Publishers BackOffice^™ is a new custom branded on line print and eBook publication and distribution service. It is a business to business model for publishers, organizations, journals, studios and independent professional services. Low cost set up includes a completely hosted bookshop, shopping cart and production files upload linked to your web site. For details, contact info@worthyshorts.com.

All Worthy Shorts charges must be paid by credit card on our shopping cart.

The following are the terms of sale and classes of fees charged by Worthy Shorts. All fees may be increased or decreased at any time in response to increased costs or efficiencies in operations and cost of product and services. Worthy Shorts tries to maintain the most competitive pricing that is feasible and consistent with a high quality of service and product.

1. Registration.
This is a one time fee that is refundable if a registration application is not accepted. Currently this fee is $25. It is automatically renewable annually for $10 in the event there is no sales activity during the calendar year, and will be refunded if renewal is declined. In the event it is declined, the Private Press page will be closed at Publisher's option.

2. Setup and first printing.
The Author's setup fee for each title includes a first printing of 15 keepsake copies for black and white titles and 10 copies for color titles, This enables us to pass along economies of scale and to defray the fixed costs of producing a new keepsake and maintaining it "in print" in our digital "storeroom." It also provides the Author with a starter number of keepsakes delivered that can be shared with colleagues, friends and family, or sold to the public. A single copy sample is shipped to the author for approval before the first printing at a cost of $10 plus printing and shipping.

3. Reprints.
Authors will be able to purchase reprints at a special discounted Author's Price, one at a time, or in multiple copies at per-book costs that are lower than that of the first printing.

4. Digital Editions.
At author's option, setup includes at no charge a basic, reflowable ePub edition (for text-driven works only) and a formatted PDF edition. Ask for prices on upgraded ePub edition formatting.

5. Retail and direct sales.
Worthy Shorts will set a "List Price" and an "Author's Price" to govern the sale of printed keepsakes that occur after the first printing is completed. If the Author wishes, sales of the keepsake can be made at discount within the

Author's personal network instead of the full List Price cost to online purchasers. The Author will determine prior to publication whether the keepsake will be placed on sale to the general public. Worthy shorts will also set digital edition prices, generally 50-75% of print edition prices.

6. Discounts to resellers.
Worthy Shorts will publish a discount sale that will be applied to resellers. Purchases for resale are non-returnable and will be accepted by credit card only. Digital edition discounts are determined by resellers.

7. Royalty payments to Authors.
Subject to the provisions of the Worth Shorts Agreement for Terms of Use and Author Registration, Worthy Shorts will publish a royalty scale for payment to Authors either of a percentage of sales at list price or net after published discounts, or share of the sales revenue margin over cost. No royalties will be paid on sales to Authors at Author's price.

8. Electronic editions.
WS Authors will be given the choice after the first printing, at no additional cost, to make their pdf format keepsakes available for search and browsing on their Private Press. Authors will also choose whether to include Google and other book search libraries on the web.

Authors will have the choice also to make the work available for sale as an e-book in formats compatible with various desktop and portable reading devices. Some proprietary e-book platforms may require an additional fee for conversion.

9. Premium services.
Fee schedules for future premium services such as the Designer's Gallery (customized and proprietary design templates) will be announced when activated. Access to other services, such as Worthy Shorts interest groups may be restricted to registered authors.

10. Terms of sale.
All sales will be paid in advance by credit card and will be non-returnable except in the case of damage. Sales tax must be paid where required. Charges for packing, shipping and handling will be added at the time the order is placed.

On sales of print editions: receives 65% of the net cash received, less Worthy Shorts published price list transaction charge.

On sales of digital editions: author receives 70% of the net cash received.
