Worthy Shorts ^® and the Private Press Defined

Worthy Shorts are fully published short-subject printed and digital books that you write and we create in a beautiful design you choose.

We also provide eBook editions, social networking tools, and custom publishing of more varied formats and longer forms.

There are three genres of individual short subject publication, also referred to as keepsakes or personal and professional expressions (generally 16 to 96 pages). There are also three categories of custom publishing services based on partnerships and alliances with organizations, institutions, and networked groups.

The individual expressions, described below, are: Classic Keepsakes, Business & Professional Shorts, and Academic Monographs.

The custom services, also described below, are: Publisher Services and Partnerships, Book Arts and Design Studio Boutiques, and Monograph Reprint and Publication Partnerships.

Worthy Shorts keepsakes and custom editions are fully published books for sale at Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com and at other online and walk-in retailers, and come with a distribution package that includes for one price an ISBN (unless you prefer to stay private), meta data dissemination (title search information), appearance in Books in Print and at major catalogers, participation in Google Book Search, appearance at Scribd.com, in the Worthy Shorts general catalog and in custom and other appropriate online catalogs.

The Private Press is a password protected page we give you on which the catalog of your own books appears for browsing or sale, and to which you can invite your personal friends and family or professional associates.

On that page your personal catalog can be browsed and purchased at special author prices and discounts for your associates. You can access your eBook downloads there, create links to other sites and resources you choose and participate in social networks with tools we provide.
