Resources on the History of 20th Century American Student Organizations
- Libraries, Archives, Bibliography
The resource listings in this booklet were developed over a ten year period in the course of the publication of the anthology and sourcebook, American Students Organize : Founding the National Student Association after World War II (Praeger. 2006). While by no means complete, the editors have listed the college and other libraries and archives they have visited or contacted with an indication of some of the material that is to be found there.
This is probably the most comprehensive catalog of early to mid-twentieth century resources on student organization and activism and where they can be found.
The bibliography, in addition to listing the primary resources referenced by the editors in the anthology, includes references appearing in other bibliographies, largely unpublished, that suggest additional resources.
